Why CrossPointe Church

Who We Are

At CrossPointe Church we will passionately glorify God by sacrificially giving of ourselves to meet the needs of others in the Inland Empire while raising up and sending out spiritual leaders around the world to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our History

CrossPointe Church came into existence on August 2, 2009.

The church was born from two churches merging together: First Baptist Church of Fontana and NorthWinds Church. First Baptist Church began in 1945 while NorthWinds was one of its missions that was started in 2002.

The Lord led the pastors and leaders of each church to do the unexpected and improbable “Merge.” Different cultures, worship styles, and philosophies of ministry came together to form CrossPointe Church. Our Senior Pastor at CrossPointe is Brian Simms.

Our Core Values

Biblical Authority

We accept the Bible as our manual for living. God’s word is completely reliable and truthful. What the Bible teaches is above church tradition and people’s opinion.

Authentic Community

We believe community and relationships are how God designed us to live life. We are called to experience life together through formal and informal gatherings such as worship services, life groups, and everyday living.

We are committed to bringing believers to maturity in Christ, encouraging every member to discover their spiritual gifts and equipping them to serve and minister to others for God’s glory.

We will strive to spread the truth of the gospel across every language and culture whether it is within our city or across the globe.

Pastor Brian Simms serves as the Senior Pastor of CrossPointe Church. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word, making disciples, and helping people grow in a real and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. With a heart for the Inland Empire and a desire to see spiritual leaders raised up and sent out,

Pastor Brian leads CrossPointe Church with a focus on biblical truth, faithful service, and the mission of sharing the Gospel with the world.
